TombPic                                                     NEW ORLEANS ANCESTRY

The purpose of these searches is to provide people access to public records that they are unable to verify because they do not live in the New Orleans area and are unable to access the data any other way.  Below is a list of sources that I can search for a nominal fee.  These records are not originals. They are copies in order to verify that they exist so that you can  keep them for your files.  Below are sources I can search.  My charge is for time spent and costs of copying. I charge very little for my services because I truly love doing this work both for myself and others.  It is a worthwhile endeavor for all of us and the easier and more affordable it is,
the better it is for all involved.   I will also do special requests for further information  if you so choose, those fees being agreed upon at time of service.    If I cannot find the requested information you will only be charged $1 for time spent.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or comments. info@neworleansancestry.com

RECORDS AVAILABLE TO BE SEARCHED (MORE TO COME IN THE FUTURE):

You have the option of recieving a photocopy of the printed obituary or I can type the information and send it to you via email or US mail.          This will be an email including name date and any other marriage information available (i.e. location, native country) with source information from the relevant book as well.           This information will be sent via email with the name of the ship, port and date of departure and arrival, if available, and names of all family members and relevant biographical data , if available.
Again, source information will be included from relevant book or journal.
Information will be sent via email including tombstone location, date of interment and possibly other family members buried in same location.           Information will be sent  via email.  It will include actual text from the Sacramental Records and any notes in addition to source information (photocopies possible if you wish)

*  I can attempt to locate the physical tomb and give you the location, a photograph and condition at an additional cost.  Please view my Cemetery Preservation page as well!
